The solid fat from Palm Oil CP 10 is called “palm stearin” and is usually used to make trans-free fats such as margarine, shortening, and vegetable ghee. Palm oil is obtained from the flesh of oil palm fruit (Elaeis guineensis) through an extraction process. The extraction process is carried out by separating the fruit flesh from the seeds, then the separated seeds are processed to produce oil.
